There are hundreds of different flooring types on the market. It can be hard to know which type of flooring is right for your home.

LVT flooring is one of the main contenders, however many customers have highlighted several flaws.

  1. LVT Flooring cannot sustain fluctuating temperatures. Using LVT flooring in a room susceptible to fluctuating temperatures can cause the floor to expand/contract, leaving gaps between the floor and the walls. This inevitably causes an irreparable uplift in the middle of the floor.
  2. LVT Flooring is difficult to remove (especially if adhesive is used when installed). If you have a water leak below the floor after LVT flooring has been installed, you risk damaging the floor whilst trying to fix a leaky pipe.
  3. Lastly, LVT is not eco-friendly and difficult to recycle.

On the other hand;

SPC Flooring or Stone Reinforced Composite flooring is a 100% waterproof product designed for all areas of the home.

It is a floating floor that does not require any adhesive during the installation, enabling you to easily dismantle your floor and take it anywhere you desire.

SPC Flooring durability wipes the floor with LVT and other types of vinyl flooring. (Pardon the pun). Its 60% stone content core makes it one of the most robust and resistance flooring types on the market.

As already mentioned, LVT flooring can only withstand temperatures up to 27 degrees, whereas Stone Core Composite allows for superb application in high temperature fluctuation areas, making it perfect for areas such as conservatories, where the temperatures can be extremely volatile. SPC flooring does not expand or contract with the heat, providing a robust, long lasting stunning floor.

Due to its Anti-wear layer SPC Flooring is perfect for commercial areas. The textured finish fully replicates the real materials they imitate. Your friends, family, clients or guests will be in awe of your interior taste from the floor upwards.
